BIG DAY COUNTDOWN : 75 DAYS

Seeing that the system at my workplace is down and the fact that my whole work depends on this system, I have a lot of time on my hand. So why not update? Apart from that, I can never update at home due to the fact that I do not have a proper working laptop.

Rewind back to Friday, Fatboy and I finally went to get our rings! I have been looking forward to this day for the longest time. Ive always had my mind on a simple wedding band, nothing with a million diamonds or those solitaire type. Since we had surveyed our rings a couple of days back, and didnt find something we both fancied, i was getting abit worried.

Thn I thought of Gem by Gems. I have been following them on Instagram for awhile now and have seen the designs of the rings they offered. I even showed Fatboy sometime back some of their designs which I was totally in love with. But somehow I thought it will be way too over budget for us as they didn’t state the price on their ig or website. Seeing that we don’t have much time left before the big day, I put those thoughts aside and made an appointment.

Fast forward to Friday, went to the showroom and almost pengsan lah. Everything was so pretty! Bands, solitaire, super huge rings.. they have it all. We met up with the owner (?) Hussain, who was such a nice guy. Told him our budget and gave him the designs which I had in mind, actually more like took from Pintrest while Fatboy picked one of the designs they offered. All we had to do was decide on the type of material and the gems or diamond and done! We will get the draft for the designs within the next two weeks and god am I excited! Did I say that all this is customised to our liking? Plus, its at an affordable rate depending on what you want. Hussain was really nice to help us get something within our budget and gave us different ideas on how we can stay within our budget. Fun fact: Do you know it has been opened for like 10 years? So thankful that I chose to get my rings done here.

Rings aside, I finally got my wedding invite draft from Ikahwin. The card is exactly how I wanted it to be! The design, colour, everything lah boleh katekan. But on the downside, the amount of errors that had to be rectified banyak sngat sampai tak terkata. Nasib ini draft aja. If it was already printed, nangis sepuluh hari sepuluh malam agaknye.

The last thing on our wedding checklist now is the Kursus. End of this month book, promise!

Till my next free time,
With Love,
Shasha
