BIG DAY COUNTDOWN : 82 DAYS

Fatboy and I FINALLY went to jb to get our cards done. The prices there are so affordable tht I wish I was living there. Okay maybe not till tht extent. But really, it’s actually half the price compared to Sg. Fatboy had his card done at Larkin, a shop called Joo Bee which had a whole load of wedding stuffs sold there as well. The choices of card they had was quite a lot. From normal wedding simple wedding cards to cards which can go up to RM5.90. Got people do meh until tht expensive? You all after kahwin use the card for wallpaper uh? Anyway, he picked a card within like 15 mins while I was still looking thru the booklets. Cepat sngat bro. Standard line “I sembarang pn okay. Bukannyer org simpan pn.” I, on the other hand didn’t like anything since I girl right… so abit more choosy.

And we headed off to another shop Fatboy’s colleague recommended. Which was, Ikahwin situated near… alamak I forget alr. Went it and realized tht Joo Bee and ikahwin is related! Like family related.Well, looking thru all the designs… more modernized. Something which I prefer. And I decided to get my card there. Gave the design I had I mind, and got to know there is a promotion! Apart from the cards, I get 2 free banting. A small one and a big one, plus 1000 Thank you cards. Lepas kahwin can hang the banting at the front door. Honestly, idk what im gg to do with the banting after the event. But since its free, just take lah.

My cards will be ready before Christmas and Fatboy’s will be ready I think a week or two before tht. With the cards done, tht is another thing checked off our list. I still have a few other things to prepare. Like the bunga telor, the bunga rampai and…… I really am not keeping track. That’s for my side. For me and Fatboy, whats left to purchase are our rings and the kursus. Forever lah never book kursus.

WEDDING RINGS! Went ring surveying yesterday. Wah I almost fainted finding out how much a guy’s ring can cost. A simple platinum ring at Love & Co, smpai 4k yknw. Tkpelah Fatboy, you can dream about it okay? Saw a few simple designs which I like and still surveying for the boy. So come December, we’ll get our rings.

After getting the cards done, I realize tht the wedding is really happening. All along it felt like a dream knowing that I will be getting married to the love of my life, but now… reality is finally sinking in. Not that it’s a bad thing. I am excited for this big step we decided to take. I told Fatboy yesterday that once we get our rings, it means that “THE BIG DAY” is super near alr. Looking at him, he like no feeling. Apart from the stress of savings, he seems really relaxed. Padahal dier yg akan face tok kadi. Me? A little of everything. Excited, nervous, happy.. alot of emotions really.

Wedding aside, I cant wait for Bro's POP this coming thursday! NS has taken my brother away and i cant wait to get him back. Thursday quick lah.
