THE BIG DAY COUNTDOWN : 51 DAYS

So i have started calling Fatboy HTB just to annoy him. Ape punya orang when i call him HTB, he say sial habes? You not happy uh gemok? Can laugh somemore.

Just got news that the shop both sides of my family went to order matching outfits for the wedding decided to bail on us. Everyone in the family took time to go down (and some who actually took leave!) to the shop to get their sizes and today, 51 more days to the wedding.. they told Mama they cant do the orders. Bcos..

1. The supplier do no have the kain which we wanted. Which is two diff colours (for diff sides)

2. They have a similar colour of a diff quality but its expensive and not worth it to buy.

HOW COULD THEY? I am not upset about the family not having the same outfit, but the fact that they actually had to go all the way there to get their sizes and end up, nothing. The thing is, we went there about 2 months ago? Back in september if i am not mistaken. It took them 2 months to tell us they couldnt do it? Apa nyer kedai ni? Its okay... must have patience. LOTS OF IT. Happy thoughts shasha, happy thoughts.

So what did we buy for the mini wedding shopping on Tuesday?

- Kain for the dulang
The family reuses the same dulang for all the weddings. We just change the kain according to the deco colour and use the same lining. So Kaksheda was first, then Kakct, then Kak eqa and now me. Its seems like a tradition to use this dulangs.

- Twine

We didnt even get this at Geylang. All the shops didnt have it at all. Which was a huge disappointment bcos i really wanted to use it for the berkat. So Mama and I headed to IMM for this and the shop which supposingly sells it.. was selling it at such an expensive price! End up, we got it at DAISO. $2 only!! Bukit panjang also have Daiso yknw mama.

- Paper bags for those people who "Kirim"

WAH this was a nightmare. The person who was in charge didnt even bother to help us with our questions. "Kak, ni colour ader lagi?" " Tah eh, tgk lah kat situ." "Kak, ini ader yang besar tak?" "Ader agaknye." WAH WAH WAH kakak, your time of the month is it? So what did i do? No, i did not buy pads for her. I sat on the floor and rummaged through all the stuff to find what i was looking for. I help myself lorh.

And that is pretty much it. Not alot of things really. Intended to get more things but it was hard as i didnt see anything that i really fancied. Tried to look for a ring holder for the dulang, but itu pun fail. What they had was either in a colour which i did not fancy or had alot of renda2. So DIY it is. Nasib kakak art student.

Still crossing my fingers for the cards to be ready by 24th so Fatboy and i can collect it since its his off day and its the company half day. Kite same2 berdoa okay?
